Are you a talented Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive seeking a new challenge with a highly respected and forward-thinking law firm? This is an exceptional opportunity to join a successful and collaborative Private Client team in Stamford, working on high-value and complex matters.
About the Role
You will manage a diverse and stimulating caseload, including:
- Complex estate administration involving taxable estates, agricultural and business assets
- Succession planning , inheritance tax advice and mental capacity issues
- Drafting deeds of variation , declarations of trust and other key legal documents
- Advising high-net-worth individuals , elderly and vulnerable clients and their families
- Handling Court of Protection matters and supporting clients with long-term care planning
This role offers exposure across the full spectrum of private client work, with opportunities to develop your expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently manage your own caseload with strong financial oversight
- Supervise, mentor and support junior team members
- Conduct client meetings (in-person and remote) and provide clear, empathetic advice
- Draft high-quality legal documents and correspondence
- Stay up to date with legal developments and best practice
- Participate in business development and client relationship initiatives
About You
- Qualified Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer with 2+ years PQE in private client law
- Strong experience in estate administration and working with vulnerable clients
- Excellent communication, drafting and interpersonal skills
- A proactive, team-oriented approach with a commitment to continuous learning
