Salary: £95-£115 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education Newcastle Branch are currently seeking a caring and committed Nursery Practitioner to work with a nursery setting in Middlesbrough . This is an opportunity to support children's early development through engaging activities, positive interactions and a safe, nurturing environment.

Your role as a Nursery Practitioner:

* Support children through play-based learning and daily activities.
* Assist with activities that encourage children's learning and development.
* Support communication, social and emotional development.
* Build positive and trusting relationships with children.
* Assist with daily routines and transitions.
* Observe children's development and communicate relevant information.
* Contribute to a safe, welcoming and stimulating environment.

Requirements for the Nursery Practitioner role:

* Previous experience working with children in a nursery or Early Years setting is desirable.
* Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) would be beneficial.
* Experience as a Nursery Practitioner or similar childcare role is desirable.
* A caring, patient and attentive approach.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to engage positively with young children.
* Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
* A good understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
