Trainee Recruitment Consultant
Location: Hull, Kingston upon Hull

The role of an Education Recruitment Consultant is diverse and involves building lasting relationships with candidates and clients. You will be networking within the sector and using marketing and business development techniques to attract education staff. As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant with GSL Education, you will: * Assess prospective candidates through pre-screening calls and interviews.
* Conduct compliance checks, including employment references and background screening.
* Build relationships with schools by speaking with staff at all levels, from receptionists to headteachers.
* Meet regularly with schools to understand their recruitment needs throughout the academic year.
* Market candidate CVs and highlight their key achievements to prospective schools.
* Support candidates throughout the placement process, maintaining regular contact. Ideal Trainee Recruitment Consultant Requirements: * At least six months experience in a sales and customer service environment, such as Banking, Estate Agency, Travel Advisor, Holiday Rep, Call Centre, Brokering or Mobile Phone Shops etc.
* Be target-driven and sales-focused, with a passion for supporting individuals in finding their dream job in the education sector.
* Have high levels of resilience, be ambitious, have determination and be self-driven.
* Be personable, have excellent communication skills and have a positive attitude to work.
* Be motivated to build a long-term career in recruitment within a sales and customer-facing environment. What do GSL Education offer? * Supportive training, leadership, and development programmes.
