Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 per annum

GSL Education is an independently owned, ethical education recruitment agency with a thriving Hull office and an established client base across Hull, East Riding, and North Yorkshire. Due to continued growth, we're looking for an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join our successful team, develop existing relationships, win new business, and benefit from a highly competitive commission structure with excellent earning potential.

What you'll be responsible for:

* Develop and grow a successful recruitment desk across Hull, East Riding, and North Yorkshire.
* Build and maintain long-term partnerships with schools and education professionals.
* Generate new business opportunities while strengthening existing client relationships.
* Maximise revenue through outstanding candidate management, client service, and commercial awareness.

Ideal Recruitment Consultant Requirements:

* Previous recruitment experience is essential, ideally within education recruitment or another fast-paced recruitment environment.
* Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets, with a strong commercial mindset.
* Strong business development skills, with the confidence to win new clients and develop existing partnerships.
* Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills with the ability to build trusted relationships with schools, candidates, and key stakeholders.
* Strong account management skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to deliver outstanding service.
* Confident building relationships through client visits, networking, and proactive business development activity.
* Ability to understand individual client and candidate needs, providing tailored solutions and delivering successful outcomes.
* Ambitious, resilient, and motivated to continue developing a successful career within recruitment.
* A strong understanding of the education recruitment market would be advantageous.
