We have an exciting opportunity for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our school. The successful postholder will primarily provide 1:1 support for a pupil with identified additional needs, ensuring they can access learning, achieve their individual targets and participate fully in school life. The postholder will also work with small groups of children and provide support across the whole school. As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant you will support pupils’ access to learning, contribute to the delivery of the curriculum, and help maintain a positive, well-managed learning environment. You may also support pupils with identified medical needs, working in line with Individual Healthcare Plans and school policies to ensure their health, safety, dignity and inclusion throughout the school day. We are seeking a conscientious, reliable and enthusiastic individual with a strong commitment to supporting pupils to achieve their full potential and who will actively promote the ethos and values of our school. The successful candidate will have relevant experience working as a Teaching Assistant, with a good understanding of children’s learning and individual needs. You will demonstrate effective communication, organisational and interpersonal skills, and be able to work both collaboratively with teachers and independently to support pupils’ progress and wellbeing.
