An award-winning, highly regarded law firm is looking for an experienced Private Client Associate to join its growing London team.

This is a great opportunity for a Private Client solicitor who wants to work with HNW and UHNW clients , take on technically interesting work and play a genuine role in the growth of a successful Private Client team.

The role
You'll work closely with Partners within the Private Client team, managing a varied caseload while also getting involved in the wider growth of the department.

Your work will include:

* Wills and LPAs
* Estate administration
* Inheritance Tax planning
* Trusts
* Care Home Fee planning
* Advising HNW and UHNW clients
* Matters involving multi-jurisdictional assets
* Building and maintaining strong client and referrer relationships
* Supporting the team's Business Development strategy
* Developing your own network of professional contacts and referrers
* Identifying opportunities to generate new work
* Supporting and mentoring more junior members of the team

You'll be trusted to manage your workload with a high level of autonomy and will have the opportunity to develop both your technical expertise and your commercial/BD skills .

What they're looking for
Ideally, you'll have:

* 4+ years' PQE
* Strong experience within Private Client
* A broad understanding of Wills, LPAs, trusts, estate administration and IHT planning
* Experience advising HNW/UHNW clients
* Ideally, some exposure to multi-jurisdictional assets
* A genuine interest in Business Development and growing client relationships
* Excellent communication and client-care skills
* The ability to manage your own caseload with minimal supervision
* A proactive, commercially minded approach
* Confidence working with clients, referrers and other professional advisers
* A collaborative approach and willingness to support more junior colleagues

You don't need to be a natural-born salesperson, but you should be someone who enjoys building relationships, spotting opportunities and getting involved in the wider success of a team.
