Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Location: Chigwell, Essex
Pay: £140-£170/day (DOE)
Duration: Full-time | Long-term | Temp-to-Perm
Start: 1st Sepetmber 2026

We are seeking a committed HLTA to support and guide pupils of all abilities, including those with SEN, SEMH, ASD, and ADHD, helping them thrive daily in a positive, engaging environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead 1:1 and small group interventions to support learning and development
· Plan and deliver engaging lessons under the guidance of the class teacher
· Implement and model behaviour strategies (PRICE / TeamTeach experience desirable)
· Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional progress across the curriculum
· Promote and maintain a calm, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
Requirements:
· HLTA qualified or working towards Level 4 TA status
· Flexible, proactive, and confident in leading learning and interventions
· Experience supporting pupils with SEN, SEMH, ASD, ADHD, and behavioural needs
· Positive, patient, and resilient approach to helping pupils thrive
· School or youth work experience
· Enhanced DBS (on Update Service) required
