Financial Assessment Team Officer - Southern Health & Social Care Trust - Newry

About the role: 

• £12.75 per hour
• McAvoy House, Daisy Hill, Newry
• 37.5 hrs per week, Monday - Friday
• Immediate start, full time, temporary for 3 months

What you'll be doing in this role:

• The postholder will support the Financial Assessments Team in the provision of financial assessment services to the Trust.

•  The postholder will assist in the preparation of financial assessments, raising of invoices and recovery of income due to the Trust.

•  He/she will provide cover in the absence of colleagues, and will deputise for the Income Team Leader across a range of responsibilities as and when required.

What you'll need for this role:

• 4 GCSEs at Grades A-C including English Language and Maths equivalent / higher qualification AND 1 years’ experience in a clerical / administrative role.
• OR 2 years' experience in a clerical / administrative role.
• Hold a current full driving licence which is valid for use in the UK and have access to a car on appointment. (This criteria will be waived in the case of applicants whose disability prohibits driving but who have access to a form of transport approved by the Trust which will permit them to carry out the duties of the post).
• Experience in the use of Microsoft Office Word, Excel or Equivalent.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to use own initiative.
• Good organisational skills with an ability to prioritise own workload.
• Effective Communications skills to meet the needs of the post in full.
