Graduate Criminology Behaviour Mentor

Protocol Education is looking for enthusiastic Criminology graduates to join a specialist SEN school in Gateshead as a Behaviour Mentor.
Working with pupils who have Special Educational Needs and Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs, you'll help create a safe, supportive environment where every child has the opportunity to thrive.
No two days are the same, making this an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience while developing valuable skills for future careers in education, youth justice, social work or psychology.
In this role you'll:
- Support pupils with behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
- Encourage positive choices and engagement in learning.
- Build trusting, consistent relationships.
- Help pupils develop confidence and independence.
- Work as part of a dedicated and supportive school team.
You'll need:
- A Criminology degree or similar qualification.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A positive, patient and resilient attitude.
- A passion for supporting young people with additional needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position.
