Teaching Personnel is delighted to be working with a welcoming, high-performing primary school in Wythenshawe, seeking a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis this September.
Role Overview
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
- Location: Wythenshawe
- Contract: Full-time, term-time only

Your Responsibilities
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Deliver tailored 1:1 and small group support
- Assist the class teacher with engaging, differentiated lessons
- Support Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and adapt strategies as needed
- Create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
- Work collaboratively with teachers, the SENCo, and external specialists
- Track and monitor pupil progress
✅ About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Holds GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
- Has experience supporting children with SEN
- Is patient, empathetic, and adaptable
- Demonstrates strong communication and teamwork skills
- Is committed to safeguarding and child welfare
- Has completed Level 2 Safeguarding training (or is willing to do so)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
