Group Tax Team, In-house
Due to continue growth this new role will sit within the Direct Taxes team (within the Group Tax Team), responsible for assisting with many aspects of the direct tax strategy. As part of your role, you will work closely with key stakeholders across the business, including Commercial teams, Group Finance as well as the wider Tax Team and teams in the Group’s overseas jurisdictions.
This role will report to the Tax Director.
the role will continue to evolve but areas of focus will include -
·Pro actively identifying tax risks and opportunities within the Group
·Partnering with the business to identify and manage international tax risks including permanent establishment, withholding taxes and other local tax requirements.
·Supporting the tax team with tax technical matters such as identifying the tax implications to ensure the Group remain compliant with local tax requirements and management of tax aspects of international growth into new jurisdictions.
·Assisting on tax input into Group M&A activity, including tax due diligence, structuring, and managing the tax implications and requirements post project completion.
This is a wide ranging role for a first move into industry which will give you exposure to a wide range of advisory tax issues.
This role will suit an ambitious and talented CT tax manager ( or even an ambitious assistant manager) keen progress their career a fast paced and technical environment.
