SEN Teaching Assistant (1:1 Support)

Location: Bradford, West Yorkshire

Contract: Full-time, term-time only

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to provide one-to-one support for pupils with additional learning needs within a welcoming primary school in Bradford.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide tailored 1:1 support for pupils with SEN, including autism and ADHD.
• Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development.
• Implement individual education and behaviour plans.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
• Encourage engagement and independence in the classroom.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children or young people.
• Understanding of SEN and inclusive practices.
• Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
• Patient, resilient and adaptable approach.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
