Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long Term, Full-time / Part-time Are you a compassionate, resilient, and adaptable individual with a passion for supporting young people with behavioural and emotional needs? GSL Education are currently seeking dedicated Behaviour Support professionals to work across schools in Sheffield , helping students overcome challenges and succeed in their education. As part of the Behaviour Support team, you will play a key role in promoting positive behaviour, improving engagement, and supporting students to access learning effectively within the school environment. Behaviour Support Responsibilities: * Provide one-to-one and small group support for students with behavioural needs
* Support students in managing emotions, behaviour, and social interactions
* Implement behaviour management strategies in line with school policies
* Build positive and professional relationships with students
* Support students to remain engaged in lessons and daily routines
* Work collaboratively with teachers, SEN staff, and pastoral teams
* Monitor progress and provide feedback to teaching staff
* Promote a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment Requirements: * Experience working with children or young people with behavioural needs
* Strong understanding of behaviour management and positive intervention strategies
* Ability to build trusting relationships with students
* Calm, patient, and resilient approach to challenging situations
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
