Cencora seeks an HGV Class 1 Driver for night shift operations at its Exeter distribution center. The role involves delivering pharmaceutical and healthcare products across Europe while maintaining vehicle safety, compliance with regulations, and customer service standards. Monday to Saturday schedule, 48 hours weekly.
Responsibilities
- Deliver products and invoices accurately to customers according to company standards
- Perform daily vehicle inspections covering lights, brakes, fluid levels, and roadworthiness
- Maintain safe driving practices and comply with all traffic laws and tachograph regulations
- Report vehicle faults, breakdowns, accidents, and delivery discrepancies promptly
- Ensure vehicle cleanliness, security, fuel management, and completion of all dropsheet deliveries
Requirements
- Full, valid HGV Class 1 driving licence
- Strong customer service and communication abilities
- Good numeracy and literacy skills
- High level of safety awareness
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Proactive approach with initiative
- Multi-drop delivery experience (desirable)
