Commercial Account Development Rep - German Speaking

About the Role:

As a Commercial Outbound ADR, you’ll identify and qualify new business opportunities across the EMEA commercial segment, working closely with our Sales and Marketing teams. This isn’t just a job, it’s the best way to fast-track a long career in tech sales.

 

We invest heavily in our people: a 4-week sales bootcamp, weekly 1-1 mentorship, continuous training throughout your tenure, and a leadership team that actually gets in the trenches with you. If you want an MBA in sales, this is the place to earn it.

 

Your first 90 days

  • Month 1: Meet your team, complete bootcamp, and fall in love with what Kong actually does.

  • Month 2: Pick up the phone with confidence, master our tech stach (Nooks, Claude, Gemini, Sumble, Lusha etc) and work your first live opportunity, and hit your ramp quota.

  • Month 3: Own your funnel, share what’s working, and what needs optimisation.

What you’ll do:

  • Build and run outbound campaigns end-to-end, from idea to qualified meeting

  • Engage decision-makers across phone, email, LinkedIn, and video

  • Partner closely with AEs and Marketing, you’re a connector, not just a top-of-funnel rep

  • Keep Salesforce clean and your pipeline tighter, process matters here

  • Utilise AI to boost productivity, work at pace and personalise your messaging

  • Invest in your own development, your manager will meet you where you are and help you get to what’s next

 

What you’ll bring:

  • Some experience in a customer-facing or sales role — internships, retail, or hospitality count if you can show you know how to build rapport and drive outcomes

  • A hunter mentality, you’re not waiting to be handed leads, you go and find them

  • High coachability, you take feedback well, apply it fast, and ask for more

  • Strong communicator, clear and confident in writing and on a call

  • Genuine curiosity about technology - you don’t need to be an engineer, but you want to understand what Kong does and why it matters

  • Languages: Fluency in German is essential.
