A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Tax Specialist to join a UK heritage fashion business with international operations. You will be responsible for both UK and cross-border tax compliance within the group, working closely with the Head of Tax. This is predominantly an indirect tax role, but some exposure to corporate tax is vital.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for European VAT compliance, including preparation of VAT returns, Intrastat reporting and EC Sales Lists
- Answering group queries on VAT and VAT impact
- Key point of contact for multiple tax authorities
- Willingness to grow into a mixed role, gaining more exposure to Corporate Tax
Requirements:
- ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified is preferred
- Previous working experience of both indirect and direct tax within the UK and EU
- Experience within an international group is favoured
- Experience of SAP is essential
- Excellent communication skills
- Confidence is key, this is a group facing role that will require you to coordinate with multiple sections of the business
