We are seeking an experienced and driven Luxury East Africa Travel Sales Consultant to join a highly successful travel company, working remotely based in the UK. Exciting role ideal for a sales driven travel professional from a tour operator or travel agent with strong knowledge of East Africa including Tanzania, Kenya, and Uganda.
East Africa Travel Sales Specialist Duties:
- Design and deliver tailor-made trips across Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, and Ethiopia.
- Manage inbound enquiries, build relationships with new prospects, and work with our clients international partners to design the right trip for them.
- Full bandwidth to focus on selling and hitting monthly sales targets.
- Delight customers by being proactive, anticipating questions before they become questions and delivering value.
- Collaborate with the Customer Success team to prepare and present itineraries,
- explaining the choices made and how the trip aligns with their dreams, budget, and appetite for adventure.
- Add value to every customer’s booking journey by providing useful and insightful information on their trip, the destination, and our partners, preparing them for the adventure of a lifetime.
Luxury East Africa Travel Sales Consultant – Essential Requirements:
- Significant experience selling Tanzania, Kenya, and Uganda (or at least 2 out of 3) is essential for this post from a tour operator or travel agent background.
- You love the sales process and delight in talking to customers and closing deals.
- Building rapport comes easy to you. You will need to be able to demonstrate excellent sales results and a long list of happy customers.
- You are a ‘people person’ with a natural ability to build relationships and communicate.
- Excellent written English. Excellent written communication skills generally.
- You have extremely high attention to detail.
- Spent time in Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda and/or Ethiopia.
- Travel candidates must be based in the UK.
