Northmptonshire have an exciting new post and are looking for a Quality Lead to join our team
We are committed to improving the services we provide and therefore we are looking to recruit someone with the same ambition.
The post holder will be integral to ensuring a high-quality service is delivered across all sites in North Northamptonshire.
Working as part of the leadership team, as part of the role create and undertake regular and cyclical audits of
all aspects of service delivery, collating areas of best practice, implementing quality improvement plans and evaluating impact. You will also assist in observed practice, staff coaching, and designing and delivering training and workshop sessions..You will be instrumental in embedding the CGL learning culture within the service by sharing learning from all incidents and, inclusively with the staff team, implementing actions to reduce likelihood of re-occurrence.
This role will also work closely with operational teams to support the learning process for the Northants Drug and Alcohol Related Death panel and will also track, provide and monitor reports from the coroners office and other partners for Multi Disciplinary case reviews and provide feedback at meetings and disseminate learning.

Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.
About the Role
- Be required to improve quality which will include creating and undertaking regular, cyclical audits of all aspects of service delivery and governance.
- Identify areas of good practice and areas that need improving and formulate robust plans.
- Implement these plans with all relevant staff, including leaders and front-line staff and will set up evaluation mechanisms to understand ‘what works’; impact of action plans in improving practice.
- Work with the team to ensure effective observed practice, coaching, and designing and delivering training and workshop sessions.
- Working with the senior leadership team to co-ordinate integrated quality audits across all areas of service delivery in line with the organisational audit cycle.
- Support the Designated Safeguarding Lead to ensure that the effective identification, assessment and management of risk and compliance with relevant legislation and policy and procedures are upheld.
- Ensure effective investigations of all incidents and ensure learning is disseminated appropriately throughout the service.
- You will collate lessons learned quarterly to collate themes and patterns to feed into the whole service quality improvement plan and contract monitoring reporting.
- Produce reports in a timely manner in order that the service. improve outcomes for service users.
About You
Education, Knowledge and Experience
- Experience in Social Care and the Drug & Alcohol sector, with strong knowledge of the recovery ethos.
- Background in project development, change management, and use of quality management systems.
- Skilled in root cause analysis for serious incident investigations.
- Proficient in audits and service reviews to drive evaluation and improvement.
- Experience working within regulated services, including knowledge of CQC regulations and Key Lines of Enquiry.
- Confident delivering training to diverse groups using coaching and interactive methods.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding procedures for children and vulnerable adults.
- Proven ability to analyse and cross-reference data sources to inform conclusions and improvement priorities.
- Experience in influencing stakeholders at all levels through clear, persuasive communication.
- Able to evaluate the impact of change, lead teams through improvement processes, and promote CGL’s values through action.
