Montessori Curriculum Coordinator

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Montessori Curriculum Coordinator to support the development, implementation and continuous improvement of Montessori curriculum practices across KFG.

The role will work closely with nursery leadership and teaching teams to ensure that Montessori principles are consistently reflected in classroom practice, learning environments, planning and children's experiences.

The successful candidate will provide curriculum guidance, coaching and support to educators while helping maintain high standards of Montessori practice across the Group.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support the effective implementation of the Montessori curriculum and philosophy across nurseries.

• Provide guidance to educators on Montessori principles, classroom practices and learning approaches.

• Support the development and review of curriculum plans, learning experiences and classroom resources.

• Conduct regular classroom observations and provide constructive feedback and recommendations.

• Coach and mentor educators to strengthen their Montessori knowledge and teaching practice.

• Ensure learning environments are prepared to encourage independence, exploration, concentration and purposeful learning.

• Support educators in the appropriate use and presentation of Montessori materials.

• Monitor curriculum implementation and identify areas for improvement.

• Work with Nursery Managers, Directors and teaching teams to address curriculum-related challenges.

• Support the development of age-appropriate learning experiences that meet children's individual needs and developmental stages.

• Promote consistent standards of teaching, learning and assessment across Montessori classrooms.

• Contribute to professional development, workshops and training for Montessori educators.

• Share best practices and support continuous improvement across the Group.

• Maintain awareness of current developments and best practices in Montessori education and early years learning.

• Support quality assurance activities related to curriculum and classroom practice.

• Ensure curriculum delivery aligns with KFG policies, safeguarding requirements and relevant early years standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, Montessori Education or a related field is preferred.

• Recognised Montessori qualification is essential.

• Montessori Diploma/AMI/AMS or equivalent recognised Montessori training is highly desirable.

• Strong knowledge of Montessori principles, philosophy and classroom practice.

• Knowledge of the EYFS framework and early years development is an advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience working within a Montessori early years environment.

• Previous experience in a Montessori curriculum, academic coordination, mentoring or leadership role is highly desirable.

• Experience supporting and coaching educators.

• Experience conducting classroom observations and providing curriculum feedback.

• Experience working across multiple classrooms or nursery settings is an advantage.

• UAE or international early years experience is desirable.
