"Putting Children First"
The Governors and pupils of St John Chrysostom Federation are seeking to appoint two Level 3 Teaching Assistants who will support and promote the vision and values of the Federation, helping us to maintain high-quality education and achieve the best possible outcomes for all our pupils.
The successful candidates will provide one-to-one and small-group support for pupils with additional needs, as well as day-to-day classroom support, working closely with teachers and other professionals to enable every child to reach their full potential.
These posts would suit graduates seeking valuable experience in a school setting, Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who have not yet secured a permanent teaching post, or experienced Teaching Assistants looking for a new challenge and the opportunity to make a real difference within a successful Federation.
St John's Primary School and St Chrysostom's Primary School are part of a federation led by an Executive Headteacher, two Heads of School and a Strategic Governance Body. Together, we are committed to providing a nurturing, inclusive and inspiring environment where every child is valued and encouraged to succeed.
We welcome applications from candidates who have:
- A strong commitment to raising achievement and aspirations for all pupils.
- The ability to motivate, support and inspire children through high professional standards and expectations.
- Energy, enthusiasm and a passion for supporting children's learning and development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A commitment to sustaining and developing the Christian ethos and values of our schools.
- The flexibility, resilience and dedication needed to meet the diverse needs of our pupils.
In return, we offer:
- Enthusiastic and energetic children who are eager to learn.
- A welcoming and inclusive environment where every child matters and everyone counts.
- A skilled, dedicated and hardworking staff team committed to excellence.
- Strong and supportive leadership.
- An active and supportive Governing Body committed to the success of the Federation.
- Strong links with the Church and wider community.
- High-quality support, training and professional development opportunities to help you thrive in your role.
If you are passionate about making a positive difference to children's lives and would like to join a caring and successful Federation, we would be delighted to hear from you.
