Comparator Sourcing Lead - Clinical Supplies FSP

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Comparator Sourcing Lead to support clinical trial comparator sourcing for a major pharmaceutical client. The role involves market research, sourcing strategy recommendations, purchase order execution, and vendor management across EMEA, working remotely from designated country locations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market intelligence research on comparator pricing, availability, lead times, and sourcing constraints
• Develop and recommend regional sourcing strategies and sourcing options for clinical trials
• Place purchase orders for comparator supplies and oversee delivery through completion
• Identify and escalate supply issues including quality problems and temperature excursions
• Act as subject matter expert on comparator sourcing trends, product shortages, and regulatory landscape

Requirements

• BSc or equivalent in scientific discipline
• Strong pharmaceutical industry experience in pharma, vaccines, or consumer healthcare
• Demonstrated project delivery and performance management
• Ability to influence, negotiate, and communicate across organizational levels
• Supply chain knowledge in pharmaceutical or vaccine operations preferred
• Supplier relationship management and third-party vendor experience preferred
• Knowledge of CMC development and clinical trial phases preferred
