What You’ll Do

Please note: Although the role is currently listed as Reading-based, we operate a flexible working model and are open to candidates located across the UK, including locations such as Islip, Magna Park, London, or other regions.

We want you to feel challenged and inspired. Here, you’ll develop your skills across a range of responsibilities:

• Lead and deliver the inbound logistics strategy, driving operational excellence and continuous improvement across processes and performance
• Oversee end-to-end inbound transformation initiatives, optimising PO management, supplier compliance, and cross-functional collaboration
• Establish and maintain robust SOPs, performance metrics, and data-driven insights to enhance efficiency, consistency, and scalability
• Drive the adoption of new systems and tools, ensuring high data quality, governance, and visibility to support decision-making
• Manage inbound risks, resilience planning, and sustainability initiatives, ensuring compliance and progression against key targets
• Partner with commercial, procurement, and operations teams to optimise supplier performance, control costs, and support long-term growth

What You’ll Bring

• Over 7 years’ experience in inbound logistics, supply chain, or operations, with a strong understanding of global freight across ocean, air, road, and rail
• Proven ability to drive operational excellence and lead large-scale transformation or continuous improvement initiatives
• Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, with experience using logistics systems, data platforms, and automation tools
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and process design skills, with the ability to deliver measurable improvements in complex environments
• Strong stakeholder management and leadership capabilities, with commercial awareness and experience influencing cross-functional and global teams
