As VAT & Tax manager you will report to the Head of Finance and support the Group with respect to a range of tax matters such – but primarily VAT. Providing expert guidance with respect to VAT and will also be the first point of contact for all international tax issues. In liaison with tax advisors you will provide support and advice on other areas of tax such as payroll, IR35 and simple CT.
You will be responsible for the completion & submission of the group VAT return, ensuring compliance with relevant tax legislation as well as actively work with staff to develop awareness and understanding of VAT liability and compliance issues. There will be some other taxes to cover but these are largely straightforward
Please note that only those applicants who have a legal right to work in the UK and have practical relevant UK tax experience will be considered for this VAT & Tax Manager role.
