The Role
We’re currently supporting a well-established player within the financial technology space as they look to expand their London-based engineering function. They are seeking a capable Software Engineer with solid experience delivering production-grade systems, ready to step into a role with increased responsibility and real business impact. You’ll be working on critical, revenue-influencing platforms within a dynamic and fast-evolving environment.
Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and scale applications that are directly utilised by front-office teams
Collaborate with stakeholders across trading, product, and engineering to deliver effective technical solutions
Play an active role in shaping technical direction, enhancing system stability, and maintaining strong engineering practices
Requirements
Degree in Computer Science or a closely related technical field
Around 2–5 years of hands-on development experience with Java
Prior exposure to complex, high-performance systems within financial services or comparable sectors
