Year 1 Teacher responsibilities:

· Design and deliver stimulating and engaging lessons that inspire and challenge Year 1 students

· Plan and organise schemes of work in line with the school's curriculum and national standards

· Assess and evaluate Year 1 student progress using a range of formative and summative assessment strategies

· Provide regular feedback to Year 1 students, parents and colleagues on student progress

· Create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment

· Communicate effectively with parents, carers and other professionals

· Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver outstanding teaching and learning experiences

Year 1 Teacher requirements:

· QTS, PGCE and strong academic record

· Creative, imaginative, determined, resourceful and adaptable practitioner

· Passionate about learning

· Able to demonstrate a track record of success within a Year 1 environment

· Able to communicate your passion to children and parents

· Ability to demonstrate outstanding practice in the classroom
