As a consultant Neuropsychiatrist you will:
- Conduct specialist outpatient clinics for the assessment and management of neuropsychiatric conditions.
- Undertake ward rounds and provide expert input into the care of inpatients with neuropsychiatric needs.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and case discussions.
- Liaise with referring clinicians, including neurologists, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Contribute to clinical administration, including correspondence, report writing, and referral triage.

- On GMC Specialist List in Psychiatry or at the time of interview within 6 months of expected date of CCT
- Eligible for Full UK GMC Registration or equivalent on GMC Psychiatry register in relevant Specialty within 6 months of expected date of CCT. (NB: Non- UK trained doctors must be on the GMC register and Specialist register in relevant Specialty by the date of the interview).
- Understanding of current changes in the management and organisational structures of the NHS
- Knowledge of Clinical Governance framework of NHS
- PhD, MSc, higher degree

- Experience in assessing and treating patients with functional neurological symptoms.
- Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team and understanding of the different roles

- Higher trainee experience or consultant experience in a recognised neuropsychiatric post.
