Contract: Full Time Salary: £13.71 Per Hour Shift Type: Days Contracted hours: 40Thornfield Care Home is situated on the outskirts of the lovely seaside town of Seaton which is located on the world-famous Jurassic Coast. Thornfield Care Home is registered for 52 residents.
Activities Lead Contract
- £13.71 per hour
- Contracted to 40 hours per week
- Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided
- 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)
Role Overview
As Activities Lead, you will take responsibility for developing and delivering a high quality, engaging and person centred activities programme. The role plays a key part in enhancing wellbeing, promoting independence and creating a positive, stimulating environment.
The successful candidate will be required to work alternate weekends. What We Are Looking For
- Previous experience in an Activities Coordinator or similar role is essential
- Proven ability to plan and deliver engaging activities and events
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Confident, creative and proactive approach
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience supporting older people, including those living with dementia
