The Role:

As a SEND Teacher, no two days are ever the same. This is a fantastic opportunity for newly qualified teachers looking to gain hands-on experience working with pupils who require additional support.

You may be working within specialist provisions, alternative settings, SEND schools, or mainstream schools supporting pupils with needs such as autism, ADHD, SEMH challenges, speech and language difficulties, and learning needs.

You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, adapting learning to meet individual needs, and creating a positive and supportive learning environment where every pupil can succeed. You’ll also work closely with experienced teaching assistants, SENDCos, and senior leaders who can help support your development as you begin your career.

This role is ideal for ECTs who are passionate about inclusive education and want to build experience in SEND and SEMH settings.

What We’re Looking For:

• – Recently qualified teacher or currently completing your teacher training (ECTs encouraged to apply)
• – A genuine passion for supporting pupils with SEND and SEMH needs
• – A patient, resilient, and adaptable approach
• – Strong communication skills and willingness to learn
• – A positive attitude and enthusiasm for making a difference
• – A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
