We are looking for a intuitive,enthusiasticand versatile pharmacist to join our diverse and inclusive team to help us deliver excellent compassionate care to our patientsvia a patient focused clinical pharmacy service. This is a key role within the respiratory pharmacy team delivering services to the specialist medicine directorate, with a focus on interstitial lung disease (ILD). The post-holder will be an active member of both the Pharmacy and specialist medicine directorates, to ensure continuous two-way exchange of information and maintain high standards of medicines use within the Trust. Your time will be split across 2 hospital sites, John Radcliffe Hospital and Churchill Hospital. In your application, you should state the date you will received final ratified university certificate and diploma results if you have not completed.

Main duties of the job
- Develop the ILD pharmacy service and drive the delivery of appropriate prescribing, monitoring and pharmaceutical services in ILD - including prescribing of homecare, adherence to commissioning requirements (such as BlueTeq) and attending out-patient clinics
- Be or become a knowledge expert in clinical pharmacy relating to Respiratory medicine (Asthma, COPD, cystic fibrosis (CF), Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD), pleural medicine) including prescribing, screening, advising and optimising medicines use in the area.
- Promote, monitor and improve the safe and cost-effective use of medicines within the respiratory directorate through regular communication, budgetary reports and feedback to the directorate.
- Have delegated responsibility for specific aspects of the pharmacy service within the Respiratory pharmacy team as agreed with the Directorate and Divisional Lead Pharmacists. e.g. weekly rotas, attendance at Departmental/Directorate executive or Governance meetings.
- Attend Bi-weekly respiratory Consultant ward rounds as necessary.
- Support the Advanced Clinical Pharmacist Lead for Respiratory Medicine in the provision of a safe, effective and efficient clinical pharmacy service, in accordance with local and national standards and strategy
- Routinely review, update or develop respiratory related guidelines and shared care protocols

- Masters Degree (4 Year MPharm or equivalent) in Pharmacy
- Registered as pharmacist with the GPhC
- Post Graduate Certificate in Pharmacy Practice and due to complete the diploma, or equivalent external credentialling via CPPE/ RPS
- Post Graduate Diploma/MSc in Pharmacy Practice or experience/ qualification/ credentialling deemed equivalent.
- Independent Prescriber
- Completion of formal Leadership program
