* Oversee the assessment and care planning of children in need, children subject to child protection plans, and those involved in legal proceedings.
* Ensure statutory duties are fulfilled in line with the Children Act 1989 and 2004, Working Together to Safeguard Children, and local safeguarding procedures.
* Manage the team's duty function, ensuring prompt allocation, screening, and progression of referrals. Person Specification Qualifications * Degree or equivalent qualification in Social Work.
* Registered with Social Work England.
* Evidence of continuing professional development.
* Management or leadership qualification desirable. Experience * Significant post-qualification experience within Children's Social Care.
* Proven experience managing or supervising frontline assessment or safeguarding teams.
* Experience of child protection, court work, and statutory interventions. Registration and Compliance * Current Social Work England registration.
