Temporary Evening Receptionist - York
£12.71 per hour | Monday-Thursday, 4:45pm-9:00pm | Temporary position
We are looking for a friendly, reliable and welcoming Receptionist to join our team on a temporary basis, covering our Welcome Desk from 4:45pm to 9:00pm, Monday to Thursday.
This is a varied, customer-facing role, ideal for someone who enjoys helping people and creating a warm and welcoming environment.
Key responsibilities
* Welcoming visitors, students and members of the public
* Answering and responding to telephone, email and face-to-face enquiries
* Providing support and information to students and visitors
* Supporting the smooth running of our adult evening classes, particularly at the start of term
* Preparing and setting up temporary student lanyards ready for the following day
* Assisting with general Welcome Desk and reception duties as required About you We are looking for someone who is: * Friendly, approachable and professional
* Confident communicating with people face-to-face, over the telephone and via email
* Organised, reliable and punctual
* Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
* Able to provide a friendly and professional welcome to our students and visitors Essential requirement: The successful candidate must already hold their own Enhanced DBS check , which must have been issued within the last three months . Applicants will be required to provide evidence of their current Enhanced DBS certificate.
