SEND Teaching Assistants - Full-time and Part-time roles availableWe are seeking enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistants to work across a range of schools in Attleborough and the surrounding areas. These flexible opportunities are ideal for individuals who are passionate about supporting pupils with special educational needs and want to make a positive impact in diverse educational settings.Duties as SEND Teaching Assistant:
- Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEND
- Assist teachers in adapting lessons and resources to meet individual needs
- Support pupils' social, emotional, and academic development
- Implement strategies outlined in individual education plans (IEPs)
- Promote an inclusive and safe learning environment
- Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff
Ideal SEND Teaching Assistant:
- Previous experience supporting children with SEND in an educational setting
- Knowledge of strategies for supporting pupils with additional needs
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills
- Relevant qualifications or willingness to undertake training
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
