Hours: Full time, term time only + 2 weeks. Monday-Thursday 08:20-16:30, Friday 08:20-15:40

Salary: Band 6 £30,885-£33,122 ( actual £28,390 - £30,447 pro rata )

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an HR and Compliance Officer to join our support team at Undershaw Specialist School in Hindhead. We are looking for someone to be responsible for overseeing all administration within the HR department including recruitment, interviews, training logs, absence management and performance reviews. The ideal candidate will have excellent administration skills and strong attention to detail along with proven experience of following legislation and policies and procedures relating to HR.

Skills required:

• Grade C (or equivalent) in Maths and English

• Excellent administrative IT skills

• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

• A great team player with a flexible “can-do” attitude

• Understanding or an interest in Special Needs Education and Disabilities

• Previous school or HR experience
