  • Investigating and resolving discrepancies between orders, receipts, and invoices
  • Maintaining accurate records of all financial and transactional activity
  • Monitoring supplier payments using reporting tools to ensure adherence to agreed terms
  • Responding to supplier queries in a timely and professional manner, escalating issues where required
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Reviewing aged debt reports, identifying overdue balances, and supporting resolution activities
  • Assisting with credit control processes to minimise debt exposure
  • Managing documentation and ensuring records are accurately maintained within SharePoint
  • Coordinating deliveries, accepting stock, and updating internal systems
  • Producing reports for management as required
  • Arranging small parcel deliveries and supporting logistics coordination
  • Booking travel, accommodation, and meeting facilities as needed
  • Ordering PPE, tools, stationery, and uniforms
  • Providing administrative support to the hire team
  • Undertaking general administrative duties to support the wider team

Who we're looking for

  • A highly motivated, proactive, and practical administrator
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and time management skills
  • Professional, reliable, and flexible approach to work
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general IT systems
  • Experience using business management software
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to take initiative
