Responsible for the servicing the production team efficiently, ensuring they have all the necessaries to complete their tasks.This role is available on a rotating 3 week shift pattern working Monday to Friday 6am - 2pm week 1, Monday to Friday 2pm -10pm week 2 and Sunday to Thursday 10pm - 6am week 3, working 7.5 hours per day, full time.What We Need From YouEnsure relevant information is passed on to the next shiftEnsure correct labels are printed for all machines that are used in production hallsEnsure correct data is recorded on relevant paperwork, production, and quality sheetsEnsure correct instructions and settings are followed as per SOP regarding shrink wrapping machinesEnsure work areas are kept clean, free of obstructions and hazardsEnsure correct pallets, cartons, boxes etc. are issued on all machines and any damaged items are stored and dealt with correctlyComplete daily checklist as and when required, follow up on any issues that need attentionAssisting production when needed, covering breaks, training, etcComply with all policies and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy working environment is maintainedAbide by the company’s environmental and quality management proceduresEnsure materials are segregated to reduce waste wherever possible and avoid cross contamination or other debrisEnsure waste is removed and disposed using the most cost-effective processCarry out any reasonable duties if request that are within your abilities, irrespective of grade/skill levelEnsure all waste is weighed where requestedEnsure that PPT Inspection Pads are filled in correctlyCorrectly rejecting material and following reject material proceduresBe able to operate the granulating machinesEmpty waste bins into the compacter as and when neededCommunicate in a timely manner with warehouse ensuring that all required stock for production is continually available What You'll Get From UsBenefitsWith safety as our top priority and a commitment to employee well-being an important focus, we offer comprehensive and competitive benefits as well as a variety of other well-being resources focused on mental, physical and financial health.
