Our client, a multinational organisation with a strong international presence is currently seeking a VAT Manager to join their UK tax function. Reporting into the Head of Tax, this role will be composed of both compliance and advisory responsibilities and will require you to assist with various other tax matters on an ad hoc basis.
Responsibilities:
- Management of the VAT compliance cycle, reviewing returns and ensuring they are properly submitted
- Advising group on any VAT implications for changes in policy
- Assist with various other tax matters and transfer pricing on an ad hoc basis
Requirements:
- ACA/CTA/ACCA qualified with industry experience is preferable
- Strong VAT exposure with excellent technical skills (preferably with SAP and Excel).
- Desire and confidence to challenge ideas, working autonomously and part of a team.
