Wayman Education is seeking a passionate Music Teacher who can inspire students through performance, composition and musical appreciation. This opportunity would suit a teacher who enjoys combining practical music-making with the development of students' theoretical knowledge.

The Role

• Teach Music across KS3 and KS4, with GCSE experience desirable.

• Deliver lessons covering performance, composition, listening and musical theory.

• Encourage students to participate in practical activities and collaborative performances.

• Assess progress and provide clear feedback to support improvement.

• Contribute to concerts, extracurricular clubs and wider school events where appropriate.

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

• Has a relevant Music qualification and strong subject knowledge.

• Can deliver engaging practical and theoretical lessons.

• Encourages participation from students with different musical abilities.

• Is enthusiastic about developing the school's wider musical provision.

Salary

Competitive MPS/UPS salary, dependent on experience and the school's pay structure.
