Unlock Your Potential with Sing Education

At Sing Education, we’re not just recruiting musicians — we’re looking for inspiring role models. If you’re a passionate musician with a degree in music (or a related field like musical theatre or music education) and you’re excited to share the power of music with the next generation, we’d love to hear from you.

Join us and turn your talent into impact — sparking confidence, creativity and joy in young people through music every day.

What Sets Us Apart: Sing Education stands at the forefront of music education. We're committed to sourcing and training the finest music teachers and developing cutting-edge teaching resources. Our mission is to inspire every child with the joy and transformative power of music, creating collective harmony both in and beyond the classroom.

Requirements

Availability: We're looking for musicians who can offer their time and talent for short-term and long-term cover assignments, Monday-Friday, during term time, from 8.30 am to 4.30 pm. Flexibility to accept assignments on short notice (informed by 7.30 am or the afternoon before, wherever possible) and to pre-book cover dates is essential.

Certification: All applicants must possess or be willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, facilitated by Sing Education, to ensure our commitment to child safety and trust.

The Teaching: You'll deliver our signature singing-led, whole-class curriculum music lessons from Nursery to Year 6, utilising cover lesson plans provided by Sing Education. Your role also includes conducting singing assemblies and leading choirs and clubs, with plans provided for seamless execution.

Communication & Collaboration: A successful cover day concludes with a brief handover to the Sing Education admin team. Professional and clear communication is vital, as you'll be representing Sing Education within our partner schools. Moreover, your journey begins with engaging in our comprehensive team training and induction sessions, including online and in-person training, to fully integrate into the Sing Education ethos.
