Join a team where your skills and compassion truly matter. We’re looking for Mental Health Support Workers in Nottingham (NG6) to support adults with mental health challenges in a warm, person-centred supported living environment.
About the Role
You will provide high-quality, individualised support to adults with complex mental health needs, promoting independence, safety, and wellbeing within a supported living setting. The role requires a calm, professional approach and the ability to respond confidently to challenging situations.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver person-centred care and support tailored to individual needs.
• Support with daily living tasks, including personal care, meal preparation, and household duties.
• Encourage and support access to the community, appointments, and social activities.
• Maintain accurate records, including daily notes and care plan updates.
• Respond appropriately to challenging behaviour and changing needs.
• Administer medication safely and in line with care plans and policies.
Essential Requirements
• Minimum 3 months’ experience in a mental health or supported living role.
• Experience supporting individuals with challenging behaviour.
• Understanding of ligature risks and experience supporting individuals who self-harm (desirable).
• Experience with medication administration.
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and nights.
