If so, the Learning team at London Museum has the perfect new role for you. London Museum is looking for three Showspace Storytellers to join its award-winning Learning team. The Showspace programme will be the flagship Learning offer for schools and family audiences at the new London Museum which opens later this year. Situated at the heart of the museum, the N. Sethia Showspace will be the focal point for sharing London's greatest stories with our youngest visitors and their teachers, parents, carers and guardians. We're looking for Storytellers with a passion for communicating London's complex and diverse stories with young Londoners and who can remain positive and enthusiastic during busy periods of shows delivery. Our Showspace Storytellers will work from a prepared script and will be able to receive feedback on performances and provide feedback to others. They'll be key members of the Learning team, supporting all elements of the Learning programme, and be responsible for the upkeep of the Showspace. The Showspace Storytellers will work from a rota. They will work at least two Sundays a month and will only need work on Saturdays in exceptional circumstances. The closing date for applications is Sunday 23 August. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to an assessment day on either Tuesday 8 or Thursday 10 September. If you are successfully shortlisted you will invited to an assessment day. The assessment day will include a mixture of individual and group activities designed to help us understand your skills, strengths and how you demonstrate our museum behaviours. All of the essential criteria listed on the person specification will be assessed. For the assessment day you will be asked to prepare a performance from a script provided by the museum, in addition to providing constructive feedback to others and receiving feedback positively.
