We currently have a vacancy open for a Civil Engineer who is looking to develop their career, working on a diverse portfolio of projects throughout the UK. This role will be based at either our Braintree or London offices , subject to business requirements the role may be eligible for hybrid working.
As a Civil Engineer , you will be responsible for assisting with the delivery of Civil Engineering services for a range of projects. You will be providing technical expertise, coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams, whilst ensuring compliance within all relevant design standards and regulations.
Key Areas of Responsibilities Will Include:
- Develop technical designs using AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Prepare calculations and hydraulic models with senior support
- Inspect infrastructure and write follow-up technical reports
- Draft documentation and project drawings for final issue
- Attend meetings including pre-contract visits and client briefs
Requirements
- Civil Engineering degree or an equivalent qualification
- Basic software knowledge of AutoCAD, InfoDrainage, and Civil 3D
- Professional drive to work toward EngTech, IEng, or CEng MICE
This role requires you to have a full clean driving licence with access to your own vehicle, and will be subject to a DBS Enhanced check.
Hours: Monday to Friday8:30am - 5:00pm
