Location: Crewe, Cheshire
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm
Duration: Temporary ongoing
Payrate: £12.71 per hour
The role:
Our client is looking to recruit a friendly, professional and organised Receptionist to join their busy team in Crewe on a temporary ongoing basis.
This is a fast-paced role where you will be the first point of contact for visitors, customers and callers. The successful candidate will have a welcoming and professional manner, excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm and organised while managing multiple tasks.
Main
- Welcoming visitors and customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Answering and transferring incoming telephone calls
- Responding to emails and general enquiries
- Directing visitors to the appropriate departments or members of staff
- Managing the reception area and ensuring it is kept professional and tidy
- Signing visitors in and out where required
- Handling general administrative duties and data entry
- Booking and managing appointments and meeting rooms
- Receiving and distributing post and deliveries
- Liaising with customers, colleagues and external visitors
- Providing general support to the wider office team
About you:
- Previous reception or customer service experience is desirable
- Excellent communication and telephone manner
- Friendly, approachable and professional
- Confident working in a fast-paced environment
- Well organised with excellent attention to detail
- Able to multitask and prioritise workloads effectively
- Confident using computers and Microsoft Office
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
