Help shape the future of nature in the North East. We're growing our Nature Recovery team and looking for an experienced and proactive individual to drive nature recovery policy and programmes across the region. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of regional nature recovery, helping create bigger, better and more joined up habitats for people and wildlife. In this role, you will:
- Advise on national nature recovery policy, including Local Nature Recovery Strategy duties.
- Work with regional stakeholders to shape and oversee nature recovery investment.
- Lead the development and coordination of the new North East Nature Recovery Partnership.
- Is passionate and knowledgeable about nature recovery and environmental improvement.
- Excels at building relationships and influencing diverse stakeholders.
- Thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys bringing people together around a common goal.
- Is motivated by creating lasting benefits for people, places and wildlife.
