I’m looking for a skilled handyman to carefully strip wallpaper from two small bedrooms and prepare the surfaces for painting. The job includes removing existing wallpaper, cleaning the walls, filling any minor holes or cracks, sanding lightly, and ensuring the walls are smooth and ready for one coat of primer. I’d prefer someone with experience in older properties and no strong chemicals if possible. The walls are standard plaster in good condition, and I’d like the work done with minimal mess and dust mitigation. Please include an estimate for materials and disposal if applicable, and confirm availability this week.
