About the Nursery
The Nursery operates with a clear vision to provide an outstanding, warm, and home-like childcare environment where children can thrive through play.
Our mission is to spark natural curiosity and deliver individualised learning journeys led by dedicated staff, giving every child the best early education in a safe, stimulating setting.
Anchoring our daily practice are four core values: Education through play to ensure every child succeeds; Independence by nurturing confident learners; Well-being by prioritising the mental and physical health of children and staff; and consideration for others to build strong character and resilience.
About the role
Are you an experienced, passionate, and hands-on childcare leader? We are looking for an inspiring Nursery Manager to head up our fantastic team.

Crucially, you will bring sharp commercial awareness to the role. Working under the strategic direction of our consultant, you will take the lead on local marketing initiatives to drive enquiry levels, maximize occupancy, and showcase our wonderful nursery to the wider community.
Key Responsibilities
Day-to-Day Leadership: Oversee the smooth running of the nursery, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and maintaining our high standards of care.
Team Inspiration: Mentor, guide, and inspire our dedicated and friendly staff team, fostering a positive, collaborative, and happy working environment.
All-Around Support: Actively support the nursery in all aspects, demonstrating a flexible, "can-do" approach to both administrative management and hands-on childcare.
Community & Partnerships: Maintain excellent, warm communication with parents and carers, keeping them at the heart of their child's journey.
Safeguarding: Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), ensuring the safety, happiness, and wellbeing of all children is always the top priority.
Marketing & Occupancy: Take the lead on nursery marketing strategies under external direction, actively promoting the setting to boost enrollment and build a strong local brand presence.
Commercial Management: Demonstrate strong commercial awareness by managing occupancy levels, fee collection, and nursery budgets effectively to ensure business growth.
