We have an exciting, 18-month fixed term opportunity for a motivated individual to join the Housing Solutions team.
We are looking for someone who can:
- Carry out homelessness assessments in line with the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017 also Domestic Abuse Act 2021.
- Aim to prevent homelessness wherever possible using creative and collaborative methods.
- Carry out thorough investigations to support statutory decisions making throughout the application process, assess the needs of the service user and formulate a personal housing plan.
- Be responsible for making referrals to relevant commissioned and non-commissioned services.
- Be creative and innovative in your approach to supporting people at risk of homelessness.
- Work as part of a wider Housing Solutions team to prevent and relieve homelessness wherever possible.
- Record information accurately and in a timely manner.
- Effectively communicate with colleagues, applicants, and stakeholders.
- Be part of a service that provided housing advice / support, Monday – Friday, working on a duty rota.
Whilst in post there will be development opportunities alongside flexible working within the option of a blended working environment (home and office where appropriate).
