To ensure we balance moments where we know we need to collaborate together and the need for flexibility, Asda has a hybrid way of working with a minimum 3 days a week in one of our Home Offices. Over and above this, each area of Asda may have additional requirements which may require spending more days in the office, visiting suppliers, stores or depots.

What you’ll be doing

As a Technology Apprentice, you’ll get exposure to a variety of teams and projects, giving you a real insight into how technology supports our customers and colleagues. You will have the opportunity to rotate across a number of different teams, which could include: Cyber Security, Data Engineering, Enterprise Architecture, SAP & Blue Yonder (our digital Purchasing and Supply Chain platforms), Service Management and Ai.

You’ll:

• Support the development and improvement of digital systems and tools
• Help troubleshoot technical issues and find solutions
• Collaborate with different teams across the business
• Get involved in exciting projects that drive innovation at Asda

No previous tech experience is required just the willingness to learn!

You’ll also study for BSc (Hons) Digital and Technology Solutions and Level 6 Digital and Technology Solutions Apprenticeship.

Delivered through a mix of on-the-job learning and structured study, the programme will support you in building both technical and professional skills. We’ll cover your costs and ensure you have dedicated time for learning.

Requirements

• 104 UCAS points / Level 3 qualification
• No formal experience needed – just a willingness to learn
• Basic computer literacy and confidence using technology
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Genuine interest in cyber security and technology

• A short numerical assessment
• Three, quick video interview questions
• A half-day assessment centre, where you will meet the team and find out more about the programme.

If you are successful, we will ask you to come and join ASDA in September 2026.
