The school is looking for a passionate educator who can inspire pupils during this important stage of their primary education, helping them prepare successfully for Key Stage 2 SATs and their transition to secondary school.
The Role
As a Year 6 Class Teacher, you will:
- Deliver outstanding lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
- Prepare pupils effectively for SATs assessments while maintaining a broad and engaging curriculum.
- Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
- Assess, monitor and track pupil progress to ensure excellent outcomes.
- Challenge and support pupils of all abilities.
- Foster independence, resilience and a love of learning.
- Work closely with parents, support staff and senior leaders.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school through clubs, trips and enrichment activities.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Have experience teaching within Key Stage 2.
- Demonstrate strong classroom management and behaviour management skills.
- Have a proven track record of raising attainment and pupil progress.
- Possess excellent curriculum knowledge.
- Be passionate about helping children achieve their full potential.
- Be a positive and collaborative team player.
