People Operations Lead - Site Based

* Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum
* Location: Killingholme
* Hours: 40 hours per week (between 8:00am - 6:00pm)

We're looking for a passionate and approachable People Operations Lead to be the face of people on site. You'll play a key role in creating a positive employee experience by supporting colleagues, championing wellbeing, and delivering people initiatives that make our workplace a great place to be.

What You'll Be Doing

* Be the first point of contact for employee queries, providing friendly and professional support.
* Monitor employee feedback and identify opportunities to improve workplace culture and engagement.
* Be the first point of contact for employee queries, providing friendly, professional and consistent advice and support.
* Support managers with day-to-day employee relations matters, providing guidance in line with company policies and procedures.
* Lead on complex ER matters including disciplinary, grievance, capability and absence.
* Carry out employee investigations, ensuring information is gathered fairly, accurately and confidentially.
* Escalate complex or higher-risk employee relations matters to the Head of HR where appropriate.
* Support onboarding and deliver welcoming and engaging inductions for new starters.
* Monitor employee feedback and identify opportunities to improve workplace culture, employee engagement and the overall employee experience.
* Plan and deliver employee engagement activities, recognition initiatives and wellbeing activities across the site.
* Work closely with managers to ensure people matters are dealt with consistently, fairly and in a timely manner.
* Maintain accurate and confidential records relating to employee relations cases and ensure all associated documentation is completed correctly.
* Maintain accurate employee records and support the administration of key people processes, including starters, leavers, contractual changes and employee movements.

What We're Looking For:

* Experience in People Operations, or Employee Engagement.
* A genuine passion for people and creating a great employee experience.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
* Highly organised, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
* Professional, approachable, and able to handle confidential information with discretion.
