Description
- Manage the preparation and review of financial statements and reports.
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including budgeting and forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements specific to the not-for-profit sector.
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimise financial processes and systems.
- Provide strategic financial advice to support organisational decision-making.
- Monitor cash flow and ensure effective financial resource allocation.
- Prepare financial reports for trustees and external stakeholders.
- Lead on annual audits and liaise with external auditors.
Profile
A successful Finance Manager should have:
- Professional qualifications in accounting or finance (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or ACA).
- Proven experience in financial management within the not-for-profit sector or similar.
- Strong knowledge of charity accounting standards and regulations.
- Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Attention to detail and a solution-focused mindset.
Job Offer
- Competitive salary in the range of £43,000 to £50,000 per annum, pro-rata.
